LIGHT UP XMAS APPEAL 2021

Strategic development, branding and messaging, implementation and reporting​

“GIVE SICK KIDS A BRIGHTER CHRISTMAS”

 

Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation’s annual Light Up Xmas Appeal took place between 22 November and 31 December and in just six short weeks raised over $4 million for staff, sick kids and their families across Sydney’s world-leading paediatric hospitals and services. ​

​

The appeal consisted of a strong Direct Marketing and Digital Acquistion campaign alongside some new and historic community fundraising activations including the Lights for Kids event, Virtual Giving Tree, Christmas Merchandise and a new Christmas Silent Auction. ​

​

This appeal hosts our annual broadcast on Channel 9 which aired on 18 December 2021 between 2pm-4pm. The broadcast generates awareness and funds but also enables us to provide unique recognition for our donors to assist with donor stewardship. ​

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conceptulisation of campaign concept, positioning, creative and advertising strategy

  • Creation of campaign with creative agency

  • Implementation of all digital communications 

  • Monitoring all digital campaign activity

  • Analysing and reporting on digital campaign and KPI's
